Look: Overall lightens the hair. Applied starting at the root. Can lighten natural hair up to 6 levels. Technique: Lightening of the hair in foils, in a very systemized pattern. Applied up to the root. Can be done as a full head, half head, or partial/contour/face-framing. Full Head: Highlights from the nape to the top of the head. This is done when a client wishes to go lighter all over. Half Head: Highlights from the ears to the top of the head. This is for clients who have already had highlights and wish to maintain their blond & highlight their regrowth. Partial/Contour/Face-Framing: Just one section of highlights. This is for clients who recently had highlights done and want to maintain or touch up a section. i.e the partition of their hair or around the face.
